SugarFREAK! SugarFREAK! He’s SugarFREAKY…
Friday Ramblings
Busy-ness and travelling and work and play and moving and shaking and crazy money-making.
Bulls and bears and apples and pears, black bananas in the freezer.
I’ve got picture frames on the floor and blank walls.
One of these days I’ll know what I’m talking about. How boring would that be though? Seriously, when the voices in your head start to make sense, that’s when you need to get worried.
If everyone else in the world says that 2+2=5, who’s really crazy?

Updates

If you can’t sleep, may as well be productive.
Got in a crappy mood again last night, and nothing feeds the demons like laying in bed, unable to sleep, letting the negative thoughts fester. So I decided to rewrite my blog template. Nothing too major, really just a simplification/cleaning up, plus a new banner (which I’m actually fairly proud of). Added linkbacks to the posts as well, as well as word verification for the comments (to try and cut down the spam).
What do you think?

Yikes, it’s been a while… sorry about that. How’ve you been?
…
I’m doing well, thanks. Job’s a bit of a struggle at the moment, but what job isn’t from time to time, eh? Especially when there are such glorious temptations in the world around me.
…
Yeah, she’s doing good as well. Dealing with some real pricks in her office (I’d love to offer some ‘remedial social interaction training’ with these guys), but she can handle it.
…
Not 100% sure yet, most likely I’ll be flying back home for Christmas. Just can’t do the holidays without seeing mountains and snow. Doesn’t seem right otherwise. How ’bout you?
…
Sweet.
…
Nah, not going to be an issue. I think I convinced them that it wasn’t the healthiest course of action, if you know what I mean!
…
Dude, I told you, I don’t like to talk about that anymore. I don’t do that.
…
That was different.
…
Yes it was. You know what those guys were capable of, I didn’t have a choice.
…
Nah, no way to prove it was me. It’s all cool.
…
Right, will do. Say hi to your folks for me!
…
Cheers.

Don’t bother calling me this weekend… where I’m going we don’t need… roads… I mean cell phones.
I’ll be here (or more specifically, here), doing this. And if I see anyone other than my girlfriend, I will kill them. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!!

Rage, Rage, Against The Dying Of The Light
You know what my one real fear in life is? Missing out on experiences. Not getting to do/see/taste/touch/feel everything that I want to in this world. I want to pee in all three oceans. I want to watch the toilet water flush the other direction. I want to walk into the middle of a jungle, close my eyes, and spin in a circle until I fall down and then try to find my way back out again.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
